I am drawn to the natural world finding beauty in everything from pebbles on a beach, the grace of animals and birds as well as the shape and colour of flowers. I try to capture the movement and interaction between these amazing species with translucent washiness of watercolours and the textures and marks created by the pen to bring them to life within my work. My work is a celebration of nature and all that it encompasses.

I originally specialised in sculpture during my Fine Art Degree before becoming a Secondary Art teacher and then Head of Art and Photography. After having my 3 crazy children I rediscovered my passion for drawing and it has since become my full-time occupation. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to pursue my passion daily.

My portfolio includes a wide range of commissioned work, such as a series of twelve pet portraits for a local business, and informational signs for Fishponds Park in Surbiton. I’ve also completed numerous private commissions featuring pets, animals and homes. In addition to my commissioned work, I regularly exhibit at well-established Art fairs and I have built up a collection of original pieces and a selection of Giclée prints, all of which are available on my website.

In addition to this, I have collaborated with an author on a very personal project; a series of six children’s picture books on neurodiversity. Illustrating these books was not only a huge learning curve but a dream of mine.
