An original watercolour painting with pen detail on wooden panel board, varnished.
I love the seasons and the changes to nature. My husband always gives me tulips for Mother’s Day as for me they are a reminder that nature is finally awakening; there are shoots popping up from the ground and finally colour! I loved these colourful tulips and knew they needed the equally colourful and characterful Tanagers, which I just love drawing. I used metallic watercolours on the Tanagers which glisten when they catch the light.
This original is sold in a coral pink wooden tray frame. Dimensions 87.5 x 63 x 3.5cm
